Who Needs a Thor's Lightning Air Compressor Adapter- it depends! Our air systems have standard I/M (industrial Milton) fittings on them. Some air compressor models need an adapter to allow our air system to be connected and used.
Japanese "Nitto" Adapter is for compressors equipped with Japanese "Nitto" fittings like the Smittybuilt 2781
Female I/M Adapter is for compressors equipped with male I/M fittings like Viair 400P and Viair 450P
Gas Station Adapter / Schrader Valve Adapter is for compressors equipped with screw-on Schrader valve attachments like gas station air compressors and the Viair 88P

I wanted to keep my tow hooks that came on my trailhunter but really wanted a bed step. Without this you would have to remove the tow hook to have a retractable bed step. With this it is possible and it works great!
